As a system for growing turf on a vertical surface, the wall acts as a mechanism of containment and dispersal. As containment bins on the back side of the wall are filled up, they are slowing dispersed as fertilization to seeded plate beds on the other side of the wall. As the plates grow more and more grass, they gradually unroll on the surface.
